I think Shelley views science as a negative thing, because not only is it destroying Victor's life, it's endangering all of humanity. The creature is out of control, and no one knew the effects that he would cause. I believe Shelley views science as something akin to a reckless younger sibling.

I believe that mary shelly thinks the power of science is a negative thing. Victor is potentially gonna destroy society by creating the monster since he is a example of havoc waiting to happen. The bdoy snatching its showing how science can become creepy or messed up in a way and show that in order to do things that are unthinkable in the science field you have to go to a crazy jacked up state of mind.

I believe that Mary Shelley has a bittersweet relationship with the power of science. She knows that it is a great thing and has the potential to create something as strong and bizarre as the monster. However, the creature is very destructive and hasn't done anything beneficial to anyone who has come in contact with him. As amazing as it is that science can do these things, maybe they shouldn't be done because it only hurts others.

I believe that Mary Shelley has a negative view because victor is getting hurt by the world of science because of the monster and what he is doing

I believe that Mary Shelley has gratitude towards the power of science, she uses science towards good even though it turns to an unpredicted evil, I think she has both negative and positive outlooks on science and it is mostly negative when advantage of unknown, such as when she has victor create the monster not knowing what evil it could become

I believe that Mary Shelly has a love for science and how it works as well as knows the power of science she thinks that if science is done with care and done the right way it can change peoples lives but if done carelessly then can be awful and only hurt society

I think Mary Shelley thinks science is overall a positive thing but it can also be negative when used wrongly. She thinks that science is necessary for people to discover but, for example, the monster, is destructive to society.

I believe Mary is a great think but also can come with consequences. Victor had the power to give life to something which is amazing but the consequence of his creation was he has killed people and doesn't want the resposibility of taking care of the monster so that comes with consequences.

I think Mary Shelley has a love for science but I think she is showing that if you use it the wrong way it can be negative.

Science is great regarding finding a cure. However, it can be used to create things inhumane and morally wrong just to create it. Frankly, I think that Mary Shelley supports science, but it should only be in the hands of those who are willing to accept responsibility and hold a certain amount of sanity.
